Google Maps group planning feature

Google Maps’ New Feature Helps You Make Better Plans

Keep your group texts under control and never take the blame for picking the wrong restaurant again.

You know that indecisive group text? The one about dinner with friends, but two are on strict diets and another has bad taste? Google wants to make sure you never go through that again.

The company has created a group planning feature, available in its latest Maps update. This feature lets you share lists of places and invite friends to vote in favor of them.

  1. To try it out, open Google Maps and search for locations.
  2. Press and hold an option to add it to a shortlist you can share via any messaging app.
  3. Recipients can add or remove options and vote on each one with thumbs up or thumbs down.

Now who wants tacos?
